Robinhood place-names: Difference between revisions

The place-names included here are recorded only or mainly in the form 'Robinhood' (or similar), but given the vagaries of early modern spelling they cannot be said to form a category entirely distinct from that of names usually found in the spelling 'Robin Hood'. Yet grouping them here may serve to point attention to their possible origin in the surname or plant name 'Robinhood' ((see Historiography section) and Plant names sections).
