The site of the Robin Hood.
By Henrik Thiil Nielsen, 2020-11-04. Revised by Henrik Thiil Nielsen, 2021-02-13.
There was a public house named the Robin Hood at 42 (formerly 44) Sincil Street, Lincoln, by 1861 and to 1938 if not later.
Pub Wiki lists information on publicans etc. for 1861-1905.[1] The 25" O.S. maps listed below all have a 'P.H.' (for 'public house') at the spot. The latest, published in 1946, was based on a survey carried out in 1938, so presumably the pub was still in existence at that time. As of Nov. 2020, the building is home to Greenwoods Menswear.
