Date established on the basis of the following. Ray Boas Bookseller: A Brief History of Postcards states that Tichnor Bros's linen postcards were produced from 1930 and into the 1960's. According to the page How To Date U.S. Postcards by Postage Amount, the 1c postage rate was valid for the period 1898-1951.
