By Henrik Thiil Nielsen, 2018-02-16. Revised by Henrik Thiil Nielsen, 2018-02-16.

'Robinshood marsh' is listed as a field-name in the 1839 tithe award schedule for Dengie, Essex, with Captain Henry Fanshaw as landowner, James Malden as occupier, 'Pasture' as state of cultivation, and an area of 10 acres, 2 roods, 4 perches (Template:AcreRoodPerchToM2 m2).[1]

The field, situated immediately NW of Middlewick Windfarm[2], is easily recognizable since it retains the same shape and size as in the tithe award. As far as I know, the form 'Robinshood' is unique. Is it a mistake for 'Robinhoods'?
