The Robin Hood Inn in Rainow, Macclesfield, was in existence by 1850.

It is listed as 'Robin Hood' in an 1850 directory with the wheelwright John Yarwood as victualler.^[1] The pub is included on the 6" O.S. map of the area published in 1881 (see Maps section below).
