Robin Hood Cottages, on the south side of Nettleden Road, slightly SE of Little Gaddesden, are first recorded in 1924.

The cottages first figure on O.S, maps of the area published in 1924 (see Maps below). Their name was no doubt suggested by the presence of Robin Hood House, a former public house, in the vicinity.Template:PnItemQry
