De Petro Tayllour pro transgressione facta Johanni Robhod prout compertum est per inquisitionem ad dampnum taxatum ad viijd., plegius Johannes Spyleman. Et preceptum est levare.2

[Translation by Ray Lock:]
mercy [sic] 2d.     From Peter Tayllour for trespass done to John Robhood as was found
by the enquiry, to [his] loss assessed at 8d., pledge John Spyleman. And it was
ordered to raise.5[1]

Source notes

The John Robhood concerned in this entry is the first of that name known from the court rolls. One of his sons was also named John.[2] Lock's note 5: "Margin: 'ordered'"; note 3: "Margin: 're est'".[3] Italic type and matter in brackets by Lock, except "[sic]" by IRHB.
