John Petit, knight of co. Cornwall and Reginald Botreux, knight, William Daungerous, Robert Carnadoun, John de Walesby, John de Rosworgan, Henry Trewynard and John Lanergh of the same county, acknowledge that they owe to William de Monte Acuto, earl of Salisbury and marshal of England, 1,600l.; to be levied, in default of payment, of their lands and chattels in the said county.[1]
