Sherwood Street runs south from Church Street in Warsop. Formely named Butt Lane, it is one of several streets in Warsop to have had its name changed during the 20th century. Since the street owes its name to the fact that it leads to one of remaining parts of Sherwood Forest, its name cannot in itself be said to be Robin Hood-related.
