From International Robin Hood Bibliography
Ripon, where the Robinhood Field was located.

Robinhood Field is listed as a field name in an 1840 tithe award.[1] The exact location of this field cannot be established without access to the tithe award, but it was located in Ripon, which now belongs administratively to North Yorkshire. Could this be a relatively old field name despite first being recorded in 1840? The spelling "Robinhood" is not very common for a modern Robin Hood place-name, but it is of course possible that the field was named after an owner surnamed Robinhood. The coordinates cited are those of Ripon.
