Robin Hood Road is indicated on Google Maps[1] and other modern maps but not found on the 6" O.S. maps from the period 1888 to 1951 listed below (see Maps section). In the late 19th century, a few clusters of houses on the west side of Alexandra Road, which runs parallel to Robin Hood Road, were known as Robin Hood Cottages.
