A lodge or cottage on former lands of the Robin Hood farm overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake is now a self-catering holiday cottage for rent under the name Robin Hood Cottage.^[1] Immediately northwest of the cottage is a new development named Robin Hood Holiday Park consisting of a baker's dozen of holiday lodges offered for sale individually.^[2]

About 150 m SSE of Robin Hood Cottage is found Robin Hood Wood.

-Robin Hood at Bassenthwaite Lake was originally a country house situated in a spacious park-like garden, located about 0.5 km NNW of Bassenthwaite. It is included on the 6" O.S. map of the area published in 1867 as well as subsequent revisions (see Maps section below).
