The Robin Hood on Main Street in Padbury, Buckinghamshire, is now a private residence. If I interpret the O.S. maps correctly (see Maps section below), the Robin Hood was the house shown in the photo elsewhere on this page. If not, it was one of those adjacent to it. The pub is listed with Elizabeth Quainton as publican in Slater's directory for 1850.[1] Additional information on publicans gleaned from trade directories etc. from the period 1830–1935 can be found at UK Pub History (see Sources below).
