The Robin Hood pub, now also a restaurant, dates back at least as far as 1863, when it is listed in a trade directory. This is the Robin Hood inn "2 miles N.W. of Buckingham" listed in Dobson & Taylor. The earliest map to include it that I have found so far is the 6" O.S. map of the area published in 1885 (see Maps section below).
