1 Attercliffe Road was the first of four addresses of the Robin Hood pub in Attercliffe. It seems to have opened here in 1825, the publican being a John South. In 1828-29 the pub was run by William and Thomas Bailey, and it is known that the address was then 1 Attercliffe Road.[1] How long it stayed at 1 Attercliffe Road is not known, but by 1859 the pub had moved to nearby Carlton Road.
