IRHB comments

On 20 April 1472, "was made burges John Necoll, and hys fredom gewyn to John Morchowson abbot of vnrest in that tym",[2] thus sometime during the intervening years Robin Hood replaced the Abbot of Unreason as lord of the festivities or lord of misrule.
