Marian Road in Skegness, Lincolnshire, intersects Robin Hood Road and Alexandra Road. In the late 19th century, a few clusters of houses on the west side of Alexandra Road were known as Robin Hood Cottages. Very likely the modern street names Marian Road and Robin Hood Road were inspired by the older place-name. The Robin and Marian roads are found on Google Maps[1] and other modern maps but not on the 6" O.S. maps from the period 1888 to 1951 listed below (see Maps section).Template:PnItemQry
