On verso: "Major Oak, Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire" and "Age 1500 – circumference 64 feet, was often used by Robin Hood and his Merry Men to hide from their enemies." Publishers' website address cited on verso almost certainly indicates a date in the 2000s.
