William Taunton of Stokebury, co. Kent, 'husbondman,' for not appearing before the same [sc. the justices[1]] to satisfy Robert Sybelynge of 40s., recovered by Robert by reason of a plea of detention of a writing obligatory, which Robert recovered against John Petyte of Stokebury, 'gentilman'; and to answer the same Robert touching a debt of 20 marks. Kent.[2]
