Henry de Stannelay comes into court and acknowledges that he owes John Jose 23d as pledge for John son of Robert Hode for a tunic bought from him. He is to satisfy for the 23d, and 40d damages, and is not taxed because he does not wish to find a pledge. He is amerced 2d.[1]

The entry 1340 - John son of Robert Hode junior occurs under the heading 'Alverthorpe', if we tentatively identify ' John son of Robert Hode' with 'John son of Robert Hode junior' we can ascribe this to the same locality.
