Robert Hode was summoned to warrant Philip Damysel in a third of a rood of meadow in Alvirthorp which Beatrice formerly wife of Richard de Colley seeks against Philip as her dower. He is present in court to warrant it and can say nothing against her petition. Beatrice is to recover the land, and Philip is to recover its value from Robert. Robert is amerced 6d.[1]
