There is a 'Robin Hood Farm' on Carrhouse Lane, a sidestreet of the A57, in Mottram Moor, near Mottram in Longdendale and Hollingworth. While the farm may well be much older than this, the earlist record on file dates from 2010.

The farm is mentioned that year in a publication by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council.[1] An online business directory has the farm on the west side of Carrhouse Lane.[2] However, it seems clear from Google Maps satellite view that the houses on the west side of the lane are private homes, while opposite them, on the east side of the lane, there is what looks like a farm. The latter plot is indicated on the interactive map on the present page. It is clear from materials published by Highways England that the farm is located in this area.[3]

There cannot be much doubt that the name of this farm is related to that of the long defunct Robin Hood pub on or near the southeast corner of Carrhouse Lane and the A57.
