Thomas Farmer amerced 3d. for damage in the lord's wood with cows; John Lene 4d. for the same with sheep on the coppice (virgultum); Robert Springold amerced 16d., for the same in the lord's wood with horses; Cristiana Spileman 12d. for the same with three mares; John Robhood [I] 12d. for the same with three horses; Thomas Heyward 4d. for the same with a horse, and Thomas Kembald 6d. for the same with a foal.38[1]

Source notes

The John Robhood concerned in this entry is the first of that name known from the court rolls. One of his sons was also named John.[2] Lock's brackets and italic type. Note 38 in printed source: "Thomas Kembald's amercement reduced from 12d. to 6d.".[3]
