The Robin Hood rose is a variety of musk rose introduced in 1927 by the well-known English rosarian or rose breeder Joseph Pemberton (1852–1926).[1] This variety of musk rose forms a large spreading shrub bearing dense clusters of very small (c. 1.5 cm ⌀) cherry red blooms. It reaches a height of c. 120 cm and a width of c. 150 cm. Its foliage is dark green and small, while its blooms are bright cherry red, darkening with age.
