[[File:|thumb|right|500px|The Robin Hood was located at 13 North Street, i.e. Dawes Street north of East Street. It would have been where Jesson House now sits / Google Earth Street View.]]

By Henrik Thiil Nielsen, 2020-05-18. Revised by Henrik Thiil Nielsen, 2020-05-21.

A pub named the Robin Hood located at 13 North Street, Walworth, is recorded in 1881-82.[1] 'North Street' was then the name of the part of the present Dawes Street that extends north from East Street in Walworth. The street now ends at Dean's Buildings, but it formerly extended all the way to Rodney Road.[2]

The early 25" O.S. maps listed below show an unnamed public house at a location that may very well have been No. 13. The approximate coordinates provided in the infobox above are based on the assumption that this was the case. Template:PnItemQry
