IRHB comments
Eleven days later, a commission was issued to "John Boterwyk, sheriff of Middlesex, David de Berdevill, Henry Traynel, John de Salesbury and John Bysouth, seqeants-at-mace" to arrest a substantial number of people, including a Robert Hood. Three of those tasked with this are also among the serjeants-at-arms concerned in the passage quoted abpove.
